The Christian Counseling and Mental Wellness Association exists to bring biblical truth to bear on real suffering — equipping counselors, discipling the hurting, and serving the local church.
CCMWA is a fellowship of biblical counselors, students, and ministry leaders committed to caring for the mentally and emotionally burdened through the sufficiency of Scripture. We train, we counsel, and we walk alongside local churches so that no one has to carry their hardest seasons alone.
We envision churches equipped with trained biblical counselors, communities where mental and emotional struggle is met with truth and compassion rather than shame, and a rising generation of leaders who counsel from the Word with skill and love.
CCMWA trains counselors through the Christian Counseling Leadership Training Institute, provides direct biblical counseling to individuals and families, and partners with churches to build sustainable, Christ-centered counseling ministries.
We believe the Bible is God's inspired, authoritative, and sufficient Word for faith, life, and counsel.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity, virgin birth, atoning death, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We believe salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Christ alone.
We believe the local church is central to discipleship, counsel, and the Christian life.
We believe every person bears God's image and is in need of the transforming grace of Christ.
